TAYLOR VESLA Gas Blackbone Gear Layshaft

This innovative layshaft allows you to convert your Kraken Vesla to run Blackbone Baja Spur gears. As this is a new to market car, it will take time for new gearing options to arise, so we thought why not make use of the market leading steel gearing for the HPI Baja! This will eliminate the slipper clutch and uses a reverse threaded screw to hold the spur gear.

This fits the GAS model VESLA only. To use a Blackbone spur gear you will need to use the BBR5126 layshaft. This is compatible with all transmissions for the VESLA including the stock plastic, optional KVS203 Billet transmission and KVS206 Big Bore transmission.

NB: THE VESLA RUNS 76T TOTAL TOOTH COUNT, SO YOU NEED TO GET THE CORRECT PINION/SPUR, NOT JUST BUY A BAJA SET AS THEY ARE 74T TOTAL. For example the stock VESLA gear is 19/57.

To use Blackbone Baja pinions to match, you need our 54mm or 62mm Blackbone Vesla Clutch Bell.
