MCD XR5 Max Rally FT-R Rolling Chassis
M00527001/M00527201: XR5 Max FT-R Gas Rolling Chassis including the Barracuda exhaust etc which are often removed and then upsold. The Electric roller version includes the conversion kit ready to accept your own electronic speed controller and motor.
The XR5 MAX FT-R is designed to offer a longer wheel-base option to our rallycross enthusiasts. The differences between the existing X5 are the extended wheel base, widened track width, new body-shell, reinforced rear alloy stiffeners, alloy lay-shaft carrier, new alloy shock towers & shock bodies and completely new long chassis.
Available as a rolling chassis you will need additional items to complete your XR5:
For the gas model we suggest the following:
- 2-Stroke engine (TAYLOR 35cc Will make this fly!)
- Transmitter and receiver (We suggest 3+ channels)
- Steering and throttle/brake servo (Suggested Steering and Throttle servos)
- Receiver battery and charger
- On-Off Switch
- 2-Stroke oil
- Tools and polycarbonate paint

For the electric model we suggest the following:
- Hobbywing Max5 Combo with 56mm motor
- Transmitter and receiver (we suggest 3+ channels with brake mixing ability)
- Steering servo (We suggest this for steering)
- Brake servo if you want to use mechanical brakes (We suggest this servo for brakes)
- Batteries, charger, and battery connectors for your speed controller
- Factory battery tray has a battery fitment of approximately 155x55mm. It is often modified and trimmed by users to fit different sized batteries. We also suggest the Bonehead Extended Battery Tray
- Tools, tyre glue and polycarbonate paint
